People put themselves, their friends and their babies into the Dime Dime Baby clip. Then the dogs showed up. Here's how to make your dog, cat or other pet the one who dances in, bites the concha and stares down the camera, from one photo.
What the pet video looks like
The pet version follows the same clip as our person version: the quinceañera video Eve Ramírez (@eve.el.cholo) posted on 24 July 2025, which TikTok paired with "BbY WOW" by KAROL G, Judeline and rusowsky in October 2026. Your pet takes his place. New to the meme? Start with what the Dime Dime Baby trend is.
In one 9-second handheld shot, your pet:
| Time | Beat | What your pet does |
|---|---|---|
| 0–2.5 s | Walk-in | Dances toward the camera on its hind legs, a concha in its front paws |
| 2.5–3.5 s | Bite | Lifts the concha and takes a big bite |
| 3.5–5.75 s | Stare | Chews with full cheeks, staring straight into the lens |
| 5.75–9 s | Dance away | Turns and dances back into the party, tail wagging |
The motion comes from a depth map of the original clip: shapes and camera only. Your pet's face, fur, markings and eye colour come from your photo. It stands up, but it keeps its own size and proportions; it doesn't turn into a person in a dog costume. The concha stays, and the party guests stay human. The joke is your dog stealing the show at a people party.
Which pets work
- Dogs. Any breed. Dogs are often easier to catch facing the camera.
- Cats. They work well. Wait for a calm moment when your cat looks at you, rather than an action shot.
- Other pets. Most other pets work too, as long as the photo shows one animal with a clear face. Very long-bodied or very small animals can look less natural standing up.
One animal per video. With two pets, make one video for each.
Choosing the pet photo
The video gets your pet's look from the photo, so the photo matters most.
- One animal. Two pets, or a pet in someone's arms, make it unclear who should dance. Crop to the one you mean.
- Face sharp and toward the camera. Eyes and nose clear. The stare is a close-up of your pet's face. Take the photo at its eye level.
- Show some body. Head and chest at least, the whole animal if you can. The template has to stand your pet up, so legs, chest and tail help it get the size and markings right.
- Bright, even light. Daylight or a bright room keeps fur colour steady. Dark fur in a dim room turns into a blur.
- No filters. Cartoon or beauty filters change the face, and the video copies them.
A collar or a small piece of clothing in the photo can stay. Our photo guide covers people and pets in more detail.
How to make the Dime Dime Baby dog video in 3 steps
These are the same three steps as on the pet page.
Step 1: Upload one photo of your pet
A clear, well-lit photo, face sharp and toward the camera, some of the body visible. One animal per photo. JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 20 MB. Use a photo of your own pet, or one you have permission to use.
Step 2: Pick the model and quality
Choose Budget, Balanced or Premium, and 480p or 720p; Premium also offers 1080p. There's one length: the whole 9-second clip. The price is shown before you generate.
| Option | Quality | One video, no account | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Budget | 480p | — | 4 |
| Balanced | 480p | $4.99 | 7 |
| Balanced | 720p | $6.99 | 15 |
| Premium | 480p | $8.99 | 15 |
| Premium | 720p | — | 34 |
| Premium | 1080p | — | 60 |
Fur and whiskers are fine detail, so 720p is worth it if you plan to post. Credit packs start at $9.90 for 20 credits, with no subscription, and credits never expire. See pricing.
Step 3: Generate and share
Your photo is reviewed first, then the video usually renders in a few minutes. You get a vertical 9:16 MP4 with the BbY WOW trend sound and no watermark, ready for TikTok, Reels or Shorts. A switch on the finished video gives you a silent copy if you'd rather add the sound in TikTok.
If the photo is rejected or the render fails, your payment or credits come back automatically.
Caption ideas
- "He was told there would be conchas"
- "Dime dime baby 🐶"
- "POV: you said the concha was for you"
- "She doesn't share. She never has."
- "The stare was not rehearsed"
- "Nobody touches my concha"
- "Me at every quince when the pan dulce comes out"
Hashtags people use for the trend include #dimedimebaby and #bbywow. Add a pet tag such as #dogsoftiktok or #catsoftiktok, and turn on the AI-generated label when you post. More on the sound in the Dime Dime Baby song.
Doing it yourself instead?
The person version is on the homepage: one photo of you, in the BbY WOW guy's place. The step-by-step guide covers it.
FAQ
Can I put two pets in one video? No. The pet version has exactly one animal. Make one video per pet, and crop each photo to the one you mean.
Will my dog look like a person? No. It stands on its hind legs and holds the concha in its front paws, but it keeps its own face, fur, size and proportions. No human hands.
Can I use a photo of me holding my cat? Crop it down to the cat. A person in the photo makes it unclear who should dance.
Is the sound included? Yes, the trend sound is in the MP4. You can also download it silent.
Is it free? No, but there's no subscription and no watermark. One video is $4.99, $6.99 or $8.99 with no account.
Are my photos private? Yes. We never publish your photos or videos or show them to other users, and uploads are deleted 30 days after the video is made.
